The journey is the destination.

Arrow Slocan is differentiated from busier destinations. Small heritage towns are wrapped in impressive mountains and lakes.  This is an exceptionally laid-back part of the world. We are as unique as each of our communities and the scenic rural highways that connect them. The region offers a diverse range of activities through all seasons to rekindle the adventurous spirit and light a creative fire. This is a place to let go, engage, and explore without plan or expectation.

Arrow Slocan Tourism is British Columbia’s newest Destination Marketing Organization. Arrow Lakes and Slocan Valley are two distinct areas that form a single regional destination – Arrow Slocan. Together, they create a geographically and culturally diverse experience to appeal to a wide range of visitors.

Located in the West Kootenay, the region starts on upper Arrow Lake at Edgewood, covering over to Nakusp, east to Halcyon, and south down the Slocan Valley to Playmor junction. The following communities are included: • Appledale • Arrow Park • Burton • Brouse • Crescent Beach  • Edgewood • Fauquier • Halcyon • Lemon Creek • Nakusp • New Denver • Playmor Junction • Rosebery • Silverton • Slocan City • Slocan Park • Vallican
