Nakusp Museum & Historical Society
Located in the historic Centennial Building and open seasonally May through September. Houses a collection of photos and artifacts saved prior to the 1967 flooding of the Arrow Lakes to create the Reservoir.

Nakusp Waterfront Walkway
Lakefront walkway with views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The paved path runs along the lake adjacent to downtown and hosts benches, shade trees and garden areas.

New Denver Visitor’s Centre
Co-locates with the Silvery Slocan Museum in a beautiful 1896 heritage building—the province’s first Bank of Montreal. Centre staff provide information about what to see, where to stay and eat.

Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre
The National Historic Site tells the story of Japanese Canadians forcibly relocated during World War II. 'The Orchard' internment camp site includes original buildings, artifacts and the Heiwa Teien Peace Garden.

Located in the 100 year old former Bank of Montreal building. The museum features exhibits about the area’s heritage, including mining, logging and agricultural history.

Silverton Gallery
Originally the Silverton Schoolhouse until its closure in the 1970's. Now a heritage site, the building houses the Frank Mills Outdoor Mining Museum and Silverton Historical Society's Interpretive Centre.

Wakefield Trail & Idaho Peak
This old pack trail used by miners now switchbacks up from the Wakefield Mine site in Silverton Creek to Idaho Peak. This 4 km challenging trail is coupled with the 2 km Idaho Peak trail for a steep uphill with rewarding views.

K&S Historical Trail Network – Three Forks Trailhead
The converted railway line runs for 8 km between Sandon and Three Forks to offer a window into the region's history. Follow the trail to view artifacts leftover from the region's mining boom.

Sandon Historical Site
The Sandon historical townsite is never closed. Outdoor exhibits can be viewed any time. From May to October some buildings are available for walk through and the Prospector's Pick Cafe is open.

K&S Historical Trail Network – Sandon Trailhead
Follow the trail to view artifacts leftover from the region's mining boom. The converted railway line runs for 8 km between Sandon and Three Forks to offer a window into the region's history.

Cody Historical Site
The old mining town is a kilometre up the road from Sandon. Surrounding Cody are several old mine sites and building ruins from the Slocan Sovereign, Noble Five, Noonday and American Boy mines.

Moyie Sternwheeler Historical Site
S.S. Moyie is the oldest intact passenger sternwheeler in the world. Built for the Canadian Pacific Railway and launched in 1898, it is now a designated National Historic Site and BC Historic Landmark.
