Book the private lodge located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains. The 19,000 acre tenure provides a mix of rugged alpine, high lakes, grassy ridgelines, mossy forest and wildflower meadows. Enjoy the hot tub, sauna and yoga on the deck before heading out on one of the hiking trails that leave the lodge. The lodge can be driven to in summer with a high clearance vehicle.

Valkyr has three lodges that are accessed by helicopter. While there are no trails, the alpine offers endless opportunity for free-flowing exploration.
Both self-guided and guided trips are available. Guides custom design the hikes to offer the best routes for finding wildflowers in bloom, wildlife viewing and helping achieve your peak experience. There are 3, 4 and 7 day guided/ catered packages available.
Most of the summer trips are based out of Valkyr Lodge located at 2,210 meters in an alpine basin on the western slopes of Naumulten Mountain. There are seven unique drainages to explore. For more ambitious hikers, Hilda Hut is the destination since the mountains are steeper and approaches more rugged, but the rewards bountiful. The LQ Outpost is situated on the shoulder of Mt. Lequereux near an alpine lake with many day hike options. For keen mountaineers, there is a 7-day Hut to Hut Valkyr Traverse package can be booked.

Sol Moutain Lodge is known for it’s flowy alpine single track that is perfect for mountain bike and hiking adventures. Accessed via high clearance logging road in summer, it’s easy to bring both your bike and hiking shoes on the trip.
